10/17/26 Visceral of the Abdomen with Cadaver Studies
Please join the Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy and Julie Blaser, PT, Visceral Therapist as we explore the abdominal structures of our donors.
This course is open to all practitioners who want to develop their palpation skills and anatomical knowledge. This course targets; massage therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, movement therapists and instructors, energy workers, therapists, acupuncturists, practitioners of visceral manipulation and everyone who works with the body.
The available anatomical structures will include the liver, stomach, duodenum, gallbladder, small intestines, appendix, cecum, ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon.
This course will be offered at the:
Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy
503 Terry Street, Longmont, CO 80501
(located within the Carroll and Lewellen Funeral Home)
Class times are:
9:45 am Registration
10:00 - 1:00 Class Time
We will take a couple of breaks and allow for hands on palpation as well.
The Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy will provide lab jackets, gloves and nitrile gloves. Participants will receive a class confirmation after registering on-line for the class.
Please come well nourished and hydrated, we will provide a light snack and water.
You will receive a brief history of the donor program.
