10 11 25 Intro to the Viscera: The Abdomen with Natalie Wainani
Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy is pleased to announce the Viscera series with Natalie Wainani, LMT. Julie Blaser, PT will be assisting Natalie. Empower your practice by exploring the viscera through palpating donors (cadavers) and learn to locate and identify structures.
Explore human anatomy with a focus on the abdominal viscera. Increase your anatomical knowledge through palpation and exploration, understanding systems that function together and how they affect the structural integrity of the body.
Classes this year will include palpation with an emphasis on embodiment, lab time and a snack break.
The organs covered will be: Stomach, Duodenum, Small and Large Intestines, Pancreas, Spleen, Kidneys and Liver. Interrelations between the thoracic and pelvic organs will also be discussed
This course is open to all practitioners who want to develop their palpation skills and anatomical knowledge. This course targets; massage therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, movement therapists and instructors, energy workers, therapists, acupuncturists, practitioners of visceral manipulation and everyone who works with the body.

The Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy will provide lab jackets, gloves and nitrile gloves. Please come hydrated, well nourished and a curious mind to learn.
